Cesar Penafiel

Peru Deli — yeah, Cesar is all over the place. A great guy, very nice and sincere. I don’t know enough people as sincerely nice as he is. I had take out from them once, and it was excellent, the best Peruvian food I’ve had in Buenos Aires. I’m not exaggerating.

Aaron Brown

Aaron really knows his stuff about beer. Get him tipsy and he will spend hours telling you about its history, its discovery in ancient Egypt, all the companies in Argentina and how they are different–and which ones are great. He runs a mean beer tasting, too.

Mark Sandusky

Mark is truly a guy who loves Spice. True spiciness. This is sorely lacking from BA. But they’ve bought in spice, and bought it at full force! Nothing negative to say!

María Carrá

María’s judgment is awesome; impeccable food taste, and completely honest–although, if her opinion is not all that positive, she is much likely to be completely silent rather than speak negatively.

Victoria Angarita

Just met her the other day — she brings the coffee over to The Office. Her family owns a Coffee planation in Colombia and she brings them over here. The highest quality Coffee I’ve ever had in BA. The coffee was truly world-class. (Argentina also doesn’t grow coffee, so it is all imported from nearby…
